The wedding is thought to have been that of Nick McCosker and Lilly Mallett (at one stage he was the teacher at Toorbul). Mr G.W. Mallett ran the first Creamery at Upper Caboolture and pioneered the Postal Service. He had the Post Office on his property and gave long service as Postmaster and Mail Contractor. Miss A.G. Phelps was the last occupant and died in 1973 - The house has since been demolished and replaced.
