During the late 1950s and early 1960s, Enis Wilkinson had the sawmill behind Holtes (near the existing BP Service Station in Morayfield Road, opposite Bunnings Hardware Store).
[Wararba Provisional School opened circa 1884. On 1 January 1909, it became Waraba State School. In 1911, it was renamed Moodlu State School. The school closed on 4 July 1947.
