DescriptionLocated on the eastern side of Mount Mee, Ocean View enjoys expansive views of the Glasshouse Mountains, the Redcliffe area and the Brisbane city area. The name was given by David John Evans not long after he arrived in the area with his family in 1920.
The name was confirmed by the Pine Rivers Shire Council in 1979 when the Shire's locality names were defined and gazetted.
