Andrew Gregor's property, Old Caboolture Station, was later known as Forgie. He and his housekeeper Mary Shannon were killed by aboriginal people near his hut on 18 October 1846. Mary's husband Tom ran to Whiteside Station, some kilometres away, to seek help.
