Frahm arrived in Moreton Bay on the La Rochelle in 1864. After marrying Pauline Ottilie Krenz in 1879, the couple selected 130 acres of land (Portions 224 and 256, Parish of Warner) on the south bank of Four Mile Creek in the Strathpine district.
