TitleFrank Hart at Laceys Creek Creamery, ca. 1900DescriptionCreameries were established during the early period of the dairy industry before separators were common on farms. During the 1890s, farmers were encouraged to expand into the dairying industry. To assist them in this regard, creameries with large separators were constructed in several strategic locations in the Pine Rivers Shire. The Laceys Creek Creamery was on the corner of Baker Road and Laceys Creek Road. From here, the cream was sent to the butter factories, first to Samsonvale, then later to Terrors Creek (Dayboro).Dateca. 1900Record typePhotographFormat typePhysicalOriginal format colourBlack and white
