TitleNorth Pine Presbyterian Church, Petrie in 1976DescriptionThis church is located on Old Dayboro Road Petrie. The land was selected by Courtney Spry on 15 March 1867 but was then purchased on 27 April 1877 by William Townsend for the Corporation of the Presbyterian Church of Queensland. Church services began in 1884 and were held in the school buildings and at various homesteads. The church was built in 1911. The construction was unusual in the fact that the exterior walls have supporting beams and the front door was from Tom Petrie's home Murrumba.Date1976PhotographerArmstrong, JohnBrisbane College of Advanced Education studentsCollectorArmstrong, JohnRecord typePhotographFormat typePhysicalOriginal format colourBlack and whiteNotesOne of several photographs taken by John Armstrong and his students from the Brisbane College of Advanced Education.
