TitleCrown Hotel, Bradley Street Dayboro, 1976DescriptionThe two large trees in front of the Crown Hotel have been pruned. This photograph is taken from Williams Street looking towards the intersection with Bradley Street and Williams Street Dayboro. It is the only hotel in Dayboro and was built in 1913-1914. The first hotel was constructed of brick and was pulled down in the late 1910s. It is also the only hotel in the Pine Rivers Shire which retains the 19th century and early 20th century character. Its position makes it the centrepiece of the Dayboro urban landscape.Date1976PhotographerArmstrong, JohnBrisbane College of Advanced Education studentsCollectorArmstrong, JohnRecord typePhotographFormat typePhysicalOriginal format colourBlack and whiteNotesOne of several photographs taken by John Armstrong and his students from the Brisbane College of Advanced Education.
