The church, which was originally located in Station Road Lawnton, was built in 1888 and last used in 1984 before being moved to the Park in 1992. Nikolaus Ebert and his cousin, Carl Leis, built the church in 1888. About 50 people, including many members of the Ebert and Leis families, attended the rededication ceremony.
