The electoral rolls from 1860-1871 are incomplete and the rolls from 1872 to 1874 are missing. 1887 to 1888 rolls are also missing.; The information given about each person enrolled various in each district and from year to year. In the early years only general information was recorded and this expanded over the years.; Please note that not all persons registered to vote as it was not compulsory until 1914. Women did not achieve the right to vote until 1905.; The manual on how to use the Electoral Rolls can be found in the Local Studies Genealogical section at GEN 324. 943 QUE.
