TitleThe Redcliffe Fire StationDescriptionThe Redcliffe Fire Station was opened in 1949. It was built by local builder Alec Smith and is situated on the corner of Mary Street and Oxley Avenue. The building was two-storey brick and concrete throughout with an engine house sufficiently large enough to house two engines, three pumps and truck. The ground floor included a watch room, dormitory, kitchen, recreation room, board room and general office, battery room, bath and shower rooms and laundry.
