NameHarriet BellBiographyHarriet Rogers arrived in Queensland in 1853 aged 28. She married Charles Frederick Bell on 24 November 1855. After Charles's death, Harriet purchased portions 135 and 136 on the Redcliffe Peninsula in August 1880. She built the house Klanger which was destroyed by a tornado in 1893. Harriet subsequently acquired Wenaba, a home on the south-west corner of Victoria Esplanade and Caroline Street, Woody Point. Harriet died 26 May 1913 aged 93 and was buried at Toowong Cemetery.
