Bert Hall Park, Ferny Hills (Qld.)

Bert (Herbert John) Hall worked for many years in the best interests of the local community. As he and his wife, Irene Veronica Hall, owned the property that included the headwaters of Cabbage Tree Creek, the area now encompassed by this park, the family introduced strict conservation practices. Their work ensured that this section of Cabbage Tree Creek was preserved in its natural state, free from any degradation and pollution.
