Bob Bell Park, Strathpine (Qld.)

Councillor of Pine Rivers, Robert Charles Bell was educated at Strathpine school commencing during the First World War years. The family lived on portion 4 parish of Warner, becoming Pocket Road, later Bell's Pocket Road. Bob Bell became a 1955 Division Two Pine Shire Councillor. At the 1958 poll Bob was not successful, but returned at both the 1961 and 1964 polls. During this term Councillor Bell was elected chairman of the Water Supply committee. Robert Charles Bell died 6 June 1985 aged 74, Albany Creek Cremation.
