Councillor of Pine Rivers, Louis Ebert born 1870. Elected in 1936 to Division Two of Pine Shire Council and for the next three council terms retiring in 1949. In 1949 his eldest son J.N.R. Ebert was unsuccessful. The area named Jim Ebert Park in Dean Street Lawnton was changed 30 March 1992 to be Ebert Park to honour the whole family of early shire residents.
