Fogg Park, Mount Samson (Qld.)
Councillor William Fogg was a member of the first Pine Divisional Board in 1888, in 1890 he was a representative for subdivision three, and elected as chairman in 1892. He returned to the Board Table for a further term in 1896 serving as Chairman again in 1897 . William Fogg became a Division Three Pine Shire Councillor in February 1905 to October 1907. William Fogg and his wife had twelve children. William Fogg died 18 December 1927 aged 82, burial Lutwyche Cemetery. James Fogg, his son born in 1882 was elected to Pine Shire Council in April 1933, returned 1936, nominated but defeated in 1939. In 1947 and 1949 elected to represent Division One. James Fogg died 10 February 1970 aged 88, Albany Creek Cremation. The Fogg family were a pioneering family with two sons names on the War Service honour board, Samsonvale
