Gordon Park, Closeburn (Qld.)

Councillor David Gordon represented Subdivision One of Pine Divisional Board in February 1894. He was returned after his rotational retirement in 1897. However an injured leg caused his resignation in December 1898 after five years of local government. David Gordon purchased land in the parishes of Enoggera and Bunya and when land was offered for selection in the parish of Parker in the late 1860's he obtained a further 500 acres on Cedar Creek. David Gordon died 10 March 1910 aged 69, Burial Grovely Cemetery.
