Harold Brown Park, Wights Mountain (Qld.)

Harold Brown was the primary founder of the Samford Rangers Football Club in conjunction and support from council. His efforts have seen a small community ideal build into a strong club encroaching on 800 playing members. His ideas on branding, logo and football have been embraced by every committee through 48 years. The Samford Rangers Football Club was registered in 1972 on the original site 'Harold Brown Park'.
