Leitch Park, Albany Creek (Qld.)

Robert Leitch was elected to Caboolture Divisional Board 1885 to 1887. He was a member of the Pine Divisional Board from 1888 to 1892 during which time he was the 1889 Board Chairman. Robert selected land for himself at Albany Creek. The land was used along with the home farm for dairying and mixed farming in partnership with his younger brother John and mother Isabella after the death of John Leitch senior in 1884. Robert Leitch died 15 December 1941 aged 91, burial Lutwyche Cemetery.
