Mervyn Kenman Park, Dayboro (Qld.)

Local resident Merv Kenman joined the 61st Battalion, Qld Cameron Highlanders in 1941 and served overseas until his discharge in 1944 when he returned to work on the family dairy farm. Following his return home, he became and active member of the Dayboro RSL and was president for many years until it disbanded, following which he then joined the Pine Rivers Sub Branch. Merv Kenman was also involved with many community organisations including the Dayboro School Committee.
