Peter Campbell Park, Strathpine (Qld.)

Councillor of Pine Rivers, Peter Matthew Langley Campbell, JP, Albany Creek, was elected as a Liberal Party team member to represent Division Two of 1976 Pine River Shire Council. He became Deputy Shire Chairman in 1979 and resigned in 1980. Peter Campbell who conducted a successful Real Estate firm with many agencies, advertised the business as being conscious of the district's historical past and actively involved in its future. His grandfather Males Hale Campbell settled in Albany Creek in 1909 commencing the poultry farm named Mahaca. Mahaca Park sited on the arterial entrance to Albany Creek honours the family
