Apex Park was named for the Redcliffe Apex Club. Public Park at Bramble Bay is Apex Project The Redcliffe Apex Club will form a public park at Woody Point early in the new year and it will be known as “Apex Park.” The site, which has been provided by the town council, is on an embankment overlooking the sea. The Apex Club will supply and erect a complete unit of tables and seats, provide a barbecue and fireplace, form entrances to the park and fence it and undertake general improvements. The Council which praised this community service gesture of the Club, at its monthly meeting this week, will form a road to the park and will install water points. After the Club has completed its project, which may include (if finance is available) playground equipment for children and the placing of a safety fence along the cliff top at the rear of the park, the town Council will be responsible for the park’s maintenance.
