Bradley Park was named for Robert Thomas Bradley who was born in Dayboro. After spending his life dairy farming and raising cattle, he retired and came to Redcliffe in 1941. Bradley was elected to Redcliffe Town Council as an alderman in 1943. In 1946 he was elected to the position of Mayor of Redcliffe and served three terms as mayor, 1946, 1949 and 1952, before being defeated in 1955. -- Redcliffe : Looking at the landscape by Pat Gee acknowledging the work of Jack Stapleton and Pat Fields
