Greg Enright Park, Kippa-Ring (Qld.)

Greg Enright Park was named for former Town Clerk, Greg Enright. Greg came to live in Redcliffe with his widowed mother in 1943. From 1943 to 1949 he worked in Brisbane in what was then the Main Roads Commission. IN 1949 he obtained a position as cashier with the Redcliffe Town Council and rose throughthe ranks from the Pay Office to Assistant to the Deputy Town Clerk, to Deputy Town Clerk, and subsequently to Town Clerk in 1972.
