Dolphins supporter’s gear
The colour red is synonymous with the Dolphins. For the NRL team, the red pays homage to the Club’s long history, which began in 1947. It is the colour worn by the famous players who have come before. It speaks to the red cliffs of the Redcliffe Peninsula and the red-hued sunsets.
The colour red also connects to the land and the Ningi Ningi people who knew the Redcliffe Peninsula as Kau-in-Kau-in. This means 'Blood-Blood' ('red-like blood') in their local dialect in reference to the red ochre.
