Phyllis Annie Hodson (nee Piggott) was born in Sandgate in 1920 and attended Strathpine School from 1926. Her family ran a bakery and shop and delivered bread to Bald Hills, Bracken Ridge and Albany Creek. Eventually Phyllis' family sold the bakery to Tip Top but her uncle continued to do the local bread run for Tip Top. Phyllis reminisces on her life and events in the region. She also talks about the various businesses and their owners along Gympie Road at Strathpine, Normanby Distillery, WWII activities in the Strathpine area.
