Anthony Dunsandle was the son of Edward Arthur Daly and Mary Stella Mellish. He was single and working as a bank clerk when he enlisted in August 1915. Anthony listed another brother, Charles Wilfred Dunsandle Daly as his next of kin. After the war Anthony married Jessie Beatrice Mooney in February 1926 and they ran a dairy farm at Toorbul, Queensland.
