William Thomas Isles Jackson was the son of William Henry Jackson and Jane Eleanor Steed who lived at Morayfield, Queensland. He was 42 years old, working as a labourer and living in Longreach, Queensland when he enlisted in April 1916. William's unit embarked from Sydney on board HMAT Hororata on 14 June 1917. He was then returned to Australia in January 1918 and discharged in February 1918 for senility, Rheumatism and Chronic Bronchitis.Birth date21 March 1874Death date05 June 1925
