TitleArthur HeathwoodDescriptionArthur Adam (Art) Heathwood was born on 27 May 1891, son of Samuel Heathwood and Agnes Mitchell Walker, the sixth of their eleven children. He married Bertha May Buhmann on 31st May 1925 (Refer to MBPS-0003-061 for a photograph of Bertha May Buhmann). In 1904 Art's father Samuel Heathwood (Senior) took over the running of the Terrors Creek Sawmill upon the illness and subsequent death of the owner John Tyacke. Samuel Heathwood and his oldest son Jack then purchased the sawmill. Six of the seven sons of Sam Heathwood were recorded on the Electoral Rolls as teamsters but Arthur Adam Heathwood was recorded as a sawyer.
