The building on the left of the photograph is the Empire Theatre with the entrance facing Matthew Terrace. Next shop along was the Barber Shop and Billards Saloon and next is the Club Hotel then the Station Masters residence. On the right hand side of photograph next to the tree was the main entrance to the Railway Station.
