December 1987DescriptionThis photograph is unique in that it depicts the last six (present and future) Shire Chairmen and Mayors of Caboolture Shire Council up to amalgamation (amalgamation with Pine Rivers Shire Council and Redcliffe City Council to create Moreton Bay Regional Council at the 15 March 2008 council elections). Councillors in photograph from left to right - (Back row) Ernie Svenson (1985 to 1990. Died 11 March 1990), John White (appointed 12 May 1981 to 1988 and later Mayor of Council from 1994 to 1997), Joy Leishman (1985 to 1991 also Deputy Chairman 1988 to 1991 then became Mayor from 2000 to 2008), Tom McLoughlin (1970 to 1997 and Mayor from 1997 to 2000. He also married Pat Camilleri who also served as Shire Chairman), Stan Muldoon (December 1984 to 1988 and Shire Chairman from 1988 to 1991), Fay Cruice (1982 to 1994 - Died 21 January 1994).
