This house was the home of Mr Charlie Francis and his wife Jean. C.W.A. Francis was the local Solicitor whose office was a small wooden building situated at 27 King Street on the west side of the Commercial Bank of Australia. He was patron of the Bowls Club and Historical Society and Jean was founding patron of the Ladies Bowls Club.
