George Biggs was married to Bertha Dellit. Mrs Biggs lived to be over 100 years old. He was a farmer and builder and carried out some of the towns early subdivisions. George Street was named after him and Bertha Street was named after his wife. Their son Malcolm (Mo) played cricket and rugby league for Queensland.
