George Street runs north at the top of the photograph with the Caboolture State School visible. On the eastern side of Morayfield Road fronting King Street is the old Post Office before being moved to new premises in Hasking Street in 1988. Adjoining the Post Office is the old Police Station which was rebuilt in 1986. Adjoining the Police Station to the east is the old Court House which was replaced with a 3 storey complex in 1996. On the northern side of King Street fronting Beerburrum Road is the Royal Hotel (Carmody's Pub) which is (now 1997) the site of the Town Square and Office Tower which opened in 1997.
