Extract from newspaper (1947) - Cow electrocuted - A jersey cow, the property of Mr W. Henderson of King Street Caboolture was electrocuted last Saturday when she contacted a live piece of conduit while grazing. The conduit which marked the terminal point of an underground electric wiring system had apparently become charged through the wet weather affecting the insulation. City Electric Light Company officials deadened the offending section.
