TitleWilliam WestawayDescriptionWilliam Westaway was one of the original Westaway brothers to settle at Meridan Plains. He raised his family (sons Henry Arthur, John Albert and William, and daughters Mena and Sis) on Meridan Plains. Sis was killed one stormy afternoon while doing the washing. She was called for afternoon tea but said, just let me hang this washing out. She went outside and never came back. They found her impaled by a limb. She was engaged to one of the Lowes.
