TitleGeorge Biggs (1840-1916)DescriptionGeorge Biggs selected Portion 40, Parish of Bunya, in 1869. He continued to reside on the property, known as Pioneer Farm, with his wife, Emma, and their ten children until it was sold to the Morgan family in 1906. The elder Biggs continued to live with family members on the nearby Dugandan property until his death in 1916. George Biggs was a member of the Pine Divisional Board from its inception in 1888, serving for 13 years, 1888-1898 and 1902-1905. He was Board Chairman during the years 1891, 1895, 1896 and 1902. He was a prominent member of the Bunya School Committee from 1875 until 1904.
