McLennan Park, Ocean View (Qld.)
Before he was elected to Pine Shire Council, Donald Coutts McLennan was secretary to the Terrors Creek Farmers' Progress Association which was formed in January 1909 to further the interests of the district. Don McLennan was elected for Division Three at the 1910 council election. At the time of his rotational retirement in January 1913, Don McLennan stated that he would not offer himself for re-election. In 1916 Don McLennan was nominated by the Progress Associations of Terrors Creek and Mount Pleasant to contest the election. He was elected in place of resigned Councillor Lacey in a poll. He resigned at the 1918 meeting. In 1922 Donald Coutts McLennan was elected to the Redcliffe Shire Council until the 1924 triennial election. Donald Coutts McLennan died 13 February 1937 aged 59, Mount Thompson Cremation.
