TitleToorbul & Donnybrook War MemorialDescriptionThis memorial is located in the grounds of the Toorbul Rural Fire Brigade property located at the corner of Pumicestone Road and First Avenue Toorbul (22 First Avenue Toorbul). It is a large slab of white stone free standing with black granite mounted on the stone and aluminum plaques. The memorial stands on two steps between two flag poles surrounded by a red brick wall on three sides. There are also four military crests at top of the black granite slab.
The dedication plaque reads: Dedicated by Father Francis on 21 April 1990.
The inscription on the plaque at the bottom reads: This Memorial was erected by the citizens of Toorbul and Donnybrook to acknowledge those men and women who served their Country, In all Wars. Lest We Forget.Location of original22 First Avenue ToorbulLanguageEnglish
