DESCRIPTION

Description

Australian Paper Manufacturers (APM), later Amcor Limited, collection of 378 images showing the early development of the APM Cartonboard Petrie Mill. A PowerPoint presentation, which was an integral part of the 'Cow Paddocks to Cartonboard' display at the Pine Rivers Heritage Museum (8 December 2007 to 10 February 2008), accompanies this extensive collection and partially indexes the contents. The collection, which spans the period from the early 1940s to the 1990s, documents the construction and early operation of the mill and includes many portraits of senior managers and workers from the Australian Paper Manufacturers Petrie Mill.
